From global partnerships to individual choices, Earth Month highlights how small decisions can drive meaningful change.
Each April, people around the world observe Earth Month as a time to focus on protecting the planet we all share. It is a reminder that meaningful change happens when individuals, communities, and companies act with purpose.
At Footprint, that purpose guides the work. The company’s mission to create a healthier planet and healthier communities is reflected in its innovations and partnerships, helping people and industries move away from single-use plastics and toward fiber-based solutions.
As CEO Corey Berends shared:
“Progress happens when innovation meets real-world impact. Earth Month is an opportunity to step back and recognize how the choices we make every day, at scale and individually, shape what comes next.”
That impact is visible through partnerships that bring these values to life. Footprint’s work with the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury provides fans with firsthand experiences using plant-based, compostable, and recyclable solutions. Recognition such as inclusion on CNBC’s Disruptor 50 list in 2021 and again in 2025 highlights ongoing progress in advancing more sustainable approaches across industries.
While these milestones matter, Earth Month is also shaped by everyday actions. Simple choices such as reducing waste, reusing materials, and making more sustainable product decisions all contribute to healthier communities.
